"Apple Jack" was the winner of Best Film in the Los Angels short film festival 2003. Written and directed by Mark Whiting, who is widely known für his legendary production design for the animation film "The Iron Giant", the film has shocked viewers with its breathtaking night time forest scenes and hilarious actors. The film score was produced by Tony Dammit in New York City and features a 21-member orchestra. The music is in the traditional style of 1940's Walt Disney orchestral scores combined with raw American blue grass and hair rising 1950's science fiction horror.
